How do you calculate a test grade?

Divide the number of correct answers by the total number of questions, then multiply by 100 to get the percentage. For example, 18 correct out of 20 is 18 / 20 = 0.9, or 90%.

What letter grade is each percentage?

On a standard scale, 90 to 100% is an A, 80 to 89% is a B, 70 to 79% is a C, 60 to 69% is a D, and below 60% is an F.

How to calculate a test grade
