Pricing questions
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. The Free plan stays free with no time limit and no credit card. You can connect Canvas, StudentVue, or Schoology, build AI study schedules, model your grade, and use Writing / Math / Task Extractor every day. The only ceilings are the lesson recordings (3), owned study groups (1), and per-day caps on the AI tools, Pro lifts all of those.
What do I get with Pro?
Unlimited lesson recordings with Whisper transcription + AI summaries, unlimited study groups (including live audio/video study sessions with shared materials), and no daily caps on the Writing Assistant, Math Explainer, or Task Extractor. You also get access to the public REST API + MCP server, priority AI replies, and optional SMS study reminders.
How does billing work?
Pro is $4.99/month, billed by Stripe. You'll be redirected to Stripe Checkout, never enter card details on IntelliPlan directly. Cancel anytime from Settings → IntelliPlan Pro, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I try Pro before paying?
Refer a friend with your link (Settings → Refer a friend) and you both get 14 days of Pro for free, every time. Stack invites to keep Pro running indefinitely. There's also a 30-day trial path for new accounts when Stripe isn't required by the deployment.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You can create an account and connect your school tools with just an email address (or Google sign-in). A card is only required when you choose to upgrade to Pro.
How does IntelliPlan compare to paid tools like Shovel?
