Does this cost the school anything?
No. IntelliPlan is completely free for every student at no cost to the school or district.
What student data does IntelliPlan access?
Only what the student explicitly authorizes through their LMS: assignment titles, due dates, point values and course names, plus posted grades and category weights, which the Grade Modeler uses. Connected integrations may receive submission metadata needed to interpret posted grades. The permissions granted by the provider determine access; calendar integrations can create events when authorized. Full policy at /legal.
Do we need IT to set anything up?
No. Students authenticate through their existing LMS account, just like signing into any other service. No rostering setup is needed for an individual connection. School approval and any required data-processing agreement are still needed for school-directed use.
What approvals are needed for K-12 use?
Students whose birth year could indicate an age under 13 are held for parental approval. The adult-verification method, provider terms and school-specific arrangements require review before an under-13 school deployment. We are seeking NSD and Lakeside permission; no approval is claimed. No student data is sold.
